All about Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am a student, teacher, and avid reader. I love the outdoors whether it be camping in the Sierra’s or having a day at the beach, I try to get outside on an adventure with my chocolate lab as often as possible. I love Disneyland and anything Disney. I love to create, paint and organize. I love to cook and bake, my favorite sweet treat is peanut butter swirl brownies!

I recently graduated from Cerro Coso Community College this last spring with an Associate in Arts: Social & Behavioral Science and Associate in Science: Early Childhood Education, as well as multiple certificates in Early Childhood Education. I am now continuing on to finish my Bachelors Degree, while working full-time as an Early Childhood teacher working with the toddler age group.

I have always loved working with children, from the time I could get my baby brother to sit in a chair I was his teacher and he was my student. I starting volunteering in a Kindergarten classroom and was offered a job to work in the schools Early Childhood Program. After working with exclusively toddlers for a few years, I realized that I wanted to teach children who were a little bit older. I love working with the toddler age group, but I also love working with the Kindergarten age group up to third grade age group. I am excited to take my next steps towards becoming an elementary school teacher, and continuing on will my education.

  1. I love that you work with young children! It is such a lovely experience, though challenging, it is very rewarding. I love to hike too! I’m excited you are in my group for our Tech class 🙂
